Airport Transfers
Airport location - Copenhagen
Copenhagen International Airport Kastrup is located 8 km south of the city center on the island of Amager. You can get from the airport to the city by taxi - train - metro or bus. Copenhagen Airport is Scandinavia's largest airport.

Taxi - Copenhagen Airport
A taxi fare from the airport to the city center costs around DKK 200,00. Tips and service charges are included in price. The ride with taxi takes around 15-20 min. - depending on local traffic conditions.

Train - Copenhagen Airport
The train ride from the airport to Copenhagen Central Station (Hovedbanegården) takes about
10-15 minutes. Before getting on the train, you need to purchase a ticket at the ticket stand (DSB) located in the airport terminal. The ticket costs around DKK 25,00. Runs every 10 min.

Metro - Copenhagen Airport
Metro line is available and a ride from the airport’s Terminal 3 to the City center (Kongens Nytorv) will take approximately 14 min.

Bus - Copenhagen Airport
Bus number 250S runs from the airport to the city center. A ticket costs around DKK 25,00
(for 3 zones) and can be purchased on the bus. Travel time by bus takes around 20-30 min.

Shuttle - Copenhagen Airport
There is no public Shuttle Service between CPH-Airport and City
Centre - some hotels in Copenhagen offer private Shuttle service to and from the Airport.

Letter for VISA
Individuals requiring an official letter of invitation in order to obtain a visa and authorization to attend the congress should contact the Congress Meeting coordinator Mrs. Nur Oler ([email protected])

An invitation letter will be sent on request to the registered delegate. The letter of invitation does not financially obligate the congress organizers in any way. All expenses incurred in relation to the conference are the sole responsibility of the participant.

Cancellation Policy
For the cancellation of the registration, accommodation and exhibition area bookings until the date of February 22, 2011 only 50% of the received payment will be refund to the participant. Cancellations received after February 22, 2011 will not be entitled to any refunding. All refunds will be processed after the meeting.

Climate
The weather in Copenhagen in April is usually sunny but sometimes partly cloudy and the temperatures are around 15° Celsius.

Currency
Danish currency is Danish Kroner (DKK). One krone is divided into 100 øre.
Banks are open from 09:30 to 16:00 on weekdays with late hours until 18:00 on Thursdays
(closed Saturdays and Sundays).

Electricity
Denmark, like most other European countries, has 220-volt AC, 50Hz current and uses two-pin continental plugs. Visitors from the UK will need an adapter for electric appliances, whereas North Americans need a transformer in order to use their 110/125V appliances.

Identification Badge
All participants, companions and exhibitors will be given identification badges. Participants who do not put on their identification badges will not be able to participate in the meeting activities. You need to renew identification badge from the information desk in case of loosing out.

Value Attributed Tax
The current Value Added Tax (VAT) rate is 25 per cent. VAT is included in hotel and restaurant bills, entrance fees, etc. and cannot be refunded on these services.

An Internet Cafe will be available for participants’ use in the Exhibition Area during exhibition hours.

Certificate of Attendance
You may collect your Certificate of Attendance at the Registration Counter starting Friday April 29.

No Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited at all times in the meeting halls, exhibition halls, and restrooms. Your compliance is appreciated.

ATMs & Credit Cards
ATMs are available in many public areas.  All major establishments accept American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard and Visa cards. Expect a 3 to 5 percent surcharge.

Internet Access
Wifi is free of charge in the Congress Venue for the participants.
